DDC General Contractors is a West Texas–based construction company built on discipline, transparency, and execution. We specialize in commercial and residential construction, remodels, and restorations—delivering projects that are organized, documented, and built to last.
DDC was founded to close the gap between planning and performance. Too often, construction fails not because of effort, but because of poor coordination, unclear expectations, and lack of accountability. Our approach is different. Every project is managed through a structured system that prioritizes daily oversight, clear communication, and measurable progress.
DDC’s foundation is rooted in Midland, Texas.
Our owner was born and raised in Midland, graduating in May of 2004. In July of that same year, he married his wife and began college that fall. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed two children, establishing early on the responsibilities that shaped his work ethic and leadership style.
While attending college, he pursued a career in community service as a Paramedic student, all while working full time to support his family. At just 21 years old, in 2009, his first venture into business began with a small tree service that quickly grew into a landscape construction company.
After completing his EMT program, he went on to serve with Pecos County EMS from 2011 to 2013, continuing to operate the landscape business as an owner-operator at the same time. In January of 2016, the landscape business was intentionally shut down, and a new chapter began in residential and commercial construction.
That same month, he joined Odessa Fire EMS as a Paramedic. Although he found fulfillment in emergency services, by June of 2016 he reached a pivotal crossroads between public service and construction. Construction ultimately won.
From 2016 through 2019, the residential and commercial construction business operated at full throttle. During this period, projects ranged from steel basket-weave gates and fencing to additions, remodels, renovations, and various commercial improvements. While craftsmanship and technical skill were rapidly improving, it became clear that mastering the business side of construction was just as critical as field execution.
After experiencing project overruns, operational strain, and the challenges that come with running a small crew without refined systems, a deliberate decision was made in June of 2019 to stop operations and learn how to do construction the right way.
That decision led to a career in full-scale commercial construction, beginning as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. From 2019 through July of 2025, he progressed through roles including Superintendent, General Manager, Project Manager, and Assistant to the Vice President within a commercial construction firm.
Throughout these roles, he supervised and managed a wide range of projects, including community centers, a 64-unit apartment complex, data centers, commercial suites, tenant improvements, and other large-scale commercial developments.
What became clear over time is that whether a project is a $10,000 remodel or a $110 million commercial build, the challenges are the same: budget, time, and schedule. Lose control of one, and the others inevitably follow.
Through years of hands-on experience and managing projects at increasing scale, a structured system was developed—one focused on discipline, daily oversight, accountability, and execution. That system became the foundation of DDC.
We operate using our proprietary 27 Method, which emphasizes managing and reporting seven days a week and executing work through clearly defined construction stages. This system allows us to maintain momentum, catch issues early, and keep owners informed at every phase of the build.
From pre-construction through final turnover, DDC focuses on doing the work right—not just getting it done. We self-perform where possible, coordinate closely with licensed trades, and maintain strict quality and safety standards on every site. At project completion, our clients receive a full project record documenting what was built, how it was built, and who built it—providing long-term value well beyond the final inspection.
Whether it’s a commercial build-out, a residential remodel, or a complex restoration, DDC brings structure to the chaos of construction and delivers results you can trust.
